Outdoor Living

Outdoor spaces
worth living in.

Premium hardwood and composite decks designed around the way you actually use your backyard. Built to last decades.

Where the indoors
meets the outdoors.

A great deck isn't just a platform. It's where summer dinners happen, where mornings start with coffee, and where the best conversations play out. We build decks that feel like a natural extension of your home, not an afterthought bolted onto the back.

From classic Ipe hardwood to low-maintenance composite systems, we work with the materials that make sense for your lifestyle and your property. Every deck we build is engineered for Long Island's coastal climate: salt air, freeze-thaw cycles, and everything in between.

Service Area

Hamptons, North Fork, Suffolk County, Nassau County. All of Long Island.

Typical Timeline

Most deck projects run 2–4 weeks from start to finish.

FAQ

Common questions

Everything you need to know about building a custom deck on Long Island.

What decking material should I choose?

It depends on your budget and maintenance preference. Ipe and mahogany are premium hardwoods that look stunning and last 40+ years. Composite decking (Trex, TimberTech) requires almost zero maintenance. We'll help you weigh the trade-offs.

How long does it take to build a deck?

Most deck projects take 2–4 weeks from start to finish. A simple ground-level deck can be done in under two weeks; a multi-level deck with built-in seating, pergola and lighting takes closer to four.

Do I need a permit for a new deck?

Yes,most Long Island towns require a building permit for new decks, especially those attached to the house or elevated above grade. We handle the permit application and all required inspections for you.

Can you build a deck around my pool?

Absolutely. We build slip-resistant pool surrounds using materials rated for wet environments. We coordinate with your pool contractor to ensure proper drainage, clearances and code-compliant fencing integration.

Do you repair or refinish existing decks?

Yes. We offer full deck restoration, structural repairs, board replacement, sanding and re-staining. If your deck's framing is still sound, a restoration can save you thousands compared to a full rebuild.
